Londonderry Varsity Lancers Claim Victory Over Nashua South Varsity Purple Panthers

Londonderry Varsity Lancers took down Nashua South Varsity Purple Panthers 5-2 on Tuesday.

Nashua South Varsity Purple Panthers got on the board in the third inning after Brendon Doughty singled, scoring one run.

Londonderry Varsity Lancers took the lead, 2-1, in the bottom of the fourth thanks to singles by Jace Ruggiero, and Carter Washington.

Londonderry Varsity Lancers committed an error, which helped Nashua South Varsity Purple Panthers tie the game at two in the top of the fifth.

In the bottom of the sixth inning, Londonderry Varsity Lancers went back into the lead after Sam Iorio singled to the left side of the infield, Jaylen Stott walked, and Caden Jordan was struck by a pitch, each scoring one run.

Colin Philcrantz earned the win for Londonderry Varsity Lancers. The starter gave up five hits and two runs (one earned) over seven innings, striking out eight and walking one.

Ruggiero, Washington, Jordan, Iorio, Connor Loughlin, Caden Hartley, and Cory Kearney each collected one hit for Londonderry Varsity Lancers. Ruggiero, Stott, Washington, Jordan, and Iorio each drove in one run for Londonderry Varsity Lancers.
