Connor Fennell earned the victory on the hill for Londonderry to start the 2023 season! He went 6 innings, allowing 3 hits and no runs while striking out 9. Fennell grew stronger as the game went on, and he was on top of his game today! Ryan Williams came in and closed out the final frame.
The offense was slow to get started, but they ended the day with 10 hits. Owen Carey picked up on his stellar sophomore year by going 2-4, 3 rbi, 2 stolen bases, and being on base all four at bats. Brett McKinnon contributed 2 hits on the day while scoring 2 runs and adding 2 stolen bases as well! Liam Stott had 2 rbi as well!
It was a good effort today, and the boys are ready to get to work tomorrow to prepare for a 7 pm game at Gill vs Manchester West-Central!
